Miguel Cordeiro; Radiation Blues; 5/2010

Miguel Cordeiro was born in Salvador City, Bahia State, Brazil, in 1956, and began making art in the mid 1970s. Cordeiro is a pioneer of Brazillian graffiti and street art, widely recognized for the street work he began to produce around 1978. At that time, Cordeiro was also involved with local punk rock bands, making art leaflets for concerts, fanzines, and record covers, and in particular with a group called Camisa de Vênus, with which he made a song in 1986 that was a big hit in Brazil. Cordeiro is also singer and Guitarist with his band Koyotes.
